Q. |
When can we start? |
|
A. |
Once the TAD is submitted,
the Training and Development season may start as early
as the day after your regular season ends. |
|
Q. |
Do we have to have a minimum
number of players or teams to operate a TAD? |
|
A. |
No. There is no
minimum number of players or teams needed to charter a
TAD program. |
|
Q. |
Do we have to submit rosters
to Little League Headquarters? |
|
A. |
No. Because you have
submitted your regular season rosters at the beginning
of your season, those children are already on file at
Little League Headquarters. |
|
Q. |
Can a player who did not
play during the regular season participate in the TAD
program? |
|
A. |
Yes. This is a great
opportunity to promote the local league to those who
were not available for spring or summer play.
Please submit, to Little League Headquarters, the names
of players joining your TAD program, if they were not
included on the regular season roster. This is
necessary for proper insurance coverage. |
|
Q. |
Can we inter-league and play
with other leagues who are operating a TAD program? |
|
A. |
Yes. A league may
inter-league with other chartered TAD programs by
submitting an
inter-league play request form. |
|
Q. |
Can we organize
instructional clinics and not play any games? |
|
A. |
Yes. A league can
organize their TAD as purely instructional. Group
clinics that are concentrate on fundamentals can be
scheduled. These programs can be scheduled indoors
if weather or fields are a concern. |
|
Q. |
Can we organize a specialty
clinic for pitching? |
|
A. |
Yes. Leagues can
organize specialty clinics for skills such as pitching,
hitting and defensive positions. |
